If you don't want to change them, just don't go to the movie. You have control over the images of these characters in your heads.
So just read the books and walk away from the movie if it's not what you want. I love you whether or not you see the movie! I love that you care about the books so much. You need to watch her doing interviews and talking about what's next for her, and realizing that if she makes this movie it'll be a couple years down the road.
